Edificio Mansilla

CABA. BUENOS AIRES
These two buildings are separated by 25 years in time. However, the use of brick as the material criterion for the party wall unifies them. Party walls are a characteristic typology of Buenos Aires, allowing for the creation of blind façades with very few openings; they are like pauses within the urban landscape. Any window, crowning element, or architectural gesture stands out against the mass of red masonry, which endures over time.
