At the closing of Tsinghua University’s event at the Venice Biennale, the Grinberg - Dwek - Iglesias Studio took part in a conversation about the future of education in schools of architecture. During the exchange, attention was drawn to a central theme for the studio: how the relationship between academic training and professional practice is built, and how both dimensions can mutually enrich one another.
Throughout the discussions, several professors—many of them also practicing architects—revisited these ideas as a timely and resonant contribution to reflecting on the discipline’s current challenges.
We appreciate the invitation and the opportunity to share the studio’s perspective in an international forum for reflection. We move forward, building new possibilities.
