Arch. Adriana Dwek

DIRECTOR
Arch. Adriana Dwek is an architect from UBA (1982), with postgraduate training and a career spanning teaching, professional practice, and institutional leadership. Her path combines academic specialization, international experience in New York, and sustained work in professional spheres, with active participation in the Sociedad Central de Arquitectos and CPAU.

Origins and education

She was born on September 30, 1957. She completed her secondary studies as a bilingual high-school graduate at Lycée Jean Mermoz.

She graduated as an architect from the University of Buenos Aires (1982) and completed her training with postgraduate studies: in 1982 she took the course at the CAYC Architecture Laboratory with architect Alberto Varas, and in 1984 she attended the postgraduate program in Architecture at FADU-UBA with architect Jorge Moscato.

Early years at the Studio

Teaching and professional experience

In 1985 she served as an Architecture instructor in the Goldenberg Studio.

Between 1986 and 1987 she worked as a project designer at D.A. Gray Design, carrying out professional work in an international context.

Institutional leadership

As part of her institutional work, she served on the Board of Directors of the Sociedad Central de Arquitectos (2006–2012), where she chaired the Courses Committee during that period.

She later served as a council member of CPAU (2018–2022), acting as Treasurer (2018–2020) and Alternate Chair of the Architecture Committee (2018–2022). She is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of CPAU (2024–2026).
